Tom McHenry, Creative Team

Steve Sistilli, Art Director

The charge of the art director is to unify the overall visual appearance of UPG’s concepts and how it stimulates moods, contrasts features, and psychologically appeals to a target audience.  Working together with the UPG creative team and our clients during the brainstorming process is essential in imaging what artistic style to use to solidify what the finished scene might look like.

David Pedemonti, Design / Technical Director

David’s responsibilities lie in the design and execution of physical production and lighting. He is responsible for attending client meetings, preparation of budgets and planning workbooks, scheduling, production of technical drawings, development of technical equipment, labor, the daily installation of the staging and scenic design, communication with UPG’s creative team, supervises rehearsals and run crews, and provides on-site show management and operation.

Derek Lewis of DAL Productions

The United Production Group is please to announce our association with Derek Lewis of DAL Productions, the former VP of BET Event Productions and Grammy Award winner for sound engineering.  Since 1987 Derek has been a pioneer in creating innovative experiences. He has surpassed expectations in the production of memorable events in Television, Music & Entertainment, Festivals, and Fund-raisers.  Derek has produced events with the well known Artists such as Patti Austin, Wynton Marsalis, Doug E Fresh, Earth Wind & Fire, Carlos Santana, and many more.


Bob Balan, Sound Engineer

Bob’s life is a constant quest for knowledge in the areas of sound reproduction.  He has extensive experience mixing live sound, sound design, recording, mixdown, and mastering for corporate meetings and music and entertainment. He has spent many years repairing sound systems in order to obtain a deeper level and understanding about the products needed to meet our client’s needs.  Bob is certified as a Cisco telepresence engineer, Clearone certified audio conferencing engineer, and AMX Level 1 programmer, among many other manufacturers.  Bob has been rated by his peers as having one of the best “ears” in the business.
